Private OBM Mentoring · 1:1

You know how to do the work. Now, let’s talk about the business.

Three months of personalised 1:1 mentoring for OBMs who want an experienced sounding board for their client work, their growth and all the decisions that come with both.

Bring me the business you actually have, and let’s work out where you want to take it next.

What private mentoring is

Someone in your corner who knows this work.

Running an OBM business means making a lot of calls on your own. Which client to take. What to charge. Where the scope ends. When something needs to change. How to say the hard thing kindly.

And sometimes you don’t need another course, framework or piece of advice from the internet. You need someone who understands the work, understands the business behind it, and can sit down with you and say, okay, let’s look at what’s actually going on.

That’s what these three months are for.

Bring me what’s happening in your business. The messy parts, the exciting parts, the half-formed ideas, the thing you’ve been going back and forth on for far too long. We’ll talk it through, work out what matters, decide what’s next, and I’ll be there as you actually do it.

More clarity in your decisions. More confidence in the way you work. And someone in your corner while you build what comes next.

Who it’s for

For experienced online service providers who are well past the basics and ready to be more intentional about what comes next.

What we can work on

Bring me what’s actually happening in your business.

You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal or a colour-coded three-month plan (but that’s fine if you do 😉).

Bring the decisions you’re weighing up. The things that aren’t quite working. The things that are working brilliantly and you want more of. The opportunities you’re eyeing off. The question you’ve been circling for three weeks and would really quite like to make a decision about already.

That might mean looking at your offers and pricing, finding the right clients, navigating a tricky client relationship, tightening boundaries or scope, rethinking how you deliver your services, managing your capacity, or figuring out what the next version of your business could look like.

Some things we’ll solve. Some we’ll test. Some we’ll build on. And sometimes you’ll simply need someone who gets it to help you think something through.

How the three months work

A steady rhythm, built around your business.

Enough contact to keep things moving, with space in between to actually run your business and put what we talk about into practice.

The structure stays steady. What we work on inside it comes from whatever needs your attention right now.

01 —
Get Clear

We start by looking honestly at what’s working, what isn’t, what’s changing and what deserves your attention. You don’t need to have all of that figured out before we begin. Working it out together is rather the point.

02 —
Take Action

We talk through the decisions in front of you, pressure-test ideas, make a plan and work through whatever comes up once that plan meets real life.

03 —
Look Ahead

We zoom out together. What are you building towards? What do you want more of? Less of? And what would you love the next season of your business to actually look and feel like?

What’s included

Support that keeps the thread.

—
Six private mentoring sessions
60 minutes each, held fortnightly. Your business, your agenda, my full attention.
—
Private messaging between sessions
For the questions that can’t wait a fortnight, the quick “can I run this past you?” moments, or anything that would simply help to talk through. I reply Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
—
Weekly accountability check-ins
A short, friendly nudge each week so the things you’ve decided to do actually make their way out of the notebook and into your business.
—
Personalised action points
Clear next steps after every session, so nothing we talk about quietly evaporates once we hang up.
—
Feedback on your work
Proposals, offers, pricing, plans, that client email you’ve rewritten three times. Bring me anything that would benefit from a second set of eyes.
—
Resources along the way
Templates, examples and things from my own work when I have something that will genuinely help. No resource library to work your way through. No info-dumps.
How the support works
Close support, with room to breathe.

You’ll have regular access to me throughout the three months without mentoring becoming another thing on your to-do list. We’ll talk often, stay connected between sessions and leave plenty of room for you to actually put things into practice.

Small by design
I only work with a handful of mentoring clients at a time.

That gives me the space to stay close to what’s happening in your business, follow the thread from one conversation to the next, and properly think things through with you when something changes.

You’re not starting from scratch every time we talk. I know what you’re working towards, and we can dive in where we left off.

Why work with me

Hi, I’m Lauren.

Certified OBM® · Certified OBM® Trainer with IAOBM

I’ve spent around a decade behind the scenes of online businesses, running operations, leading teams, managing launches and projects, working closely with founders and sitting in the middle of all the decisions that make a business actually work.

I’ve also built an OBM business of my own, which means I know the other side of this too. Finding clients. Pricing your work. Navigating scope. Managing your capacity. Evolving your offers. And figuring out what you actually want the business you’re building to look like.

Today, I also train the next generation of Certified OBMs® across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific.

So when you bring me something, you’re getting honest perspective, practical experience, someone who will happily roll up their sleeves with you when we need to, and a lot of care for the kind of business you want to build.

Expression of interest

Start with where you are.

Tell me a little about your business, what you’re working through and what you’d love some support with.

I’ll read it personally and, if it feels like I’m the right person to help, we’ll have a relaxed conversation about where you’d like to go and whether working together makes sense.

No polished answers required. Half-formed thoughts are welcome. There’s no commitment in reaching out.

  1. 01
    Start with where you are
Tell me a little about your business and what you’d like support with. You don’t need to have it all neatly figured out before you get in touch.
  2. 02
    I’ll read it personally
Every word. I’ll get a feel for what you’re looking for and whether I think I can genuinely help.
  3. 03
    We’ll talk it through
If it feels like a good fit, we’ll have a relaxed conversation about your business, what you want from the next few months and what working together could look like.
  4. 04
    Let’s get to work
If it’s a yes on both sides, we’ll make it official, book your first session and shape the next three months around where you want to go.

Answering your questions

A few things you might be wondering.

Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on?

Not at all. You might come in with one very clear goal, or with five things happening at once and no idea which one deserves your attention first. Part of our work can be figuring that out together.

How do we stay in touch between sessions?

Message me whenever something comes up. I reply on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, so you always have somewhere to bring the “this just happened”, “can I run something past you?” and “am I overthinking this?” moments, while giving me enough space to give you a thoughtful answer.

How is this different from the Certified OBM® Program?

The Certified OBM® Program is structured training designed to teach you the skills and competencies required to work towards the Certified OBM® designation.

Mentoring is completely different. There’s no curriculum and nothing you need to work through. It’s 1:1 support built around you, your business and whatever is actually in front of you.

What happens after three months?

We’ll finish the three months with a clear sense of what’s next and plenty for you to keep building on. And if we both feel there’s more useful work for us to do together, we can talk about that then.
